This website is operated by an external hosting provider that processes the data on our behalf and according to our instructions (data processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR).
Each time a page is accessed, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in so-called server log files:
We need this data to provide the website technically, to ensure its stability and security, and to detect misuse and attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are not combined with other data and are deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless they are required for longer to investigate a specific security incident.
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar. This prevents third parties from reading data you transmit to us.
On the business cards we publish the name, position, business contact details (phone, mobile number, email, and where applicable WhatsApp and Instagram) and a photo of our employees, so that customers and business partners can reach their contact person directly and save their contact details.
Publication is based on the consent of the respective employee (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future; the profile is then deactivated and no longer publicly accessible. If a person leaves the company, their profile is likewise deactivated and the data deleted.
Via “Add to contacts” you can download a contact file (vCard) containing the business contact details of the respective person. The file is generated on request and transferred directly to your device; we do not store any additional data about you – apart from the server log files (see section 3).
The QR code for a profile is generated entirely in your browser. No data is transmitted to us or to third parties in the process.
No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device when you visit the public pages. Your language selection is only passed in the page address.
Only in the password-protected administration area, which is used exclusively by our employees, do we set a technically necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. It contains only a random session identifier and is deleted when the browser is closed. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
The business cards contain links that let you reach us in various ways. These services are not embedded in our pages – data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you tap the link. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies:
With these providers, a transfer of data to third countries outside the EU, in particular to the USA, cannot be ruled out.
If you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or other channels, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, content of your message) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@elmox.de is sufficient.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz NiedersachsenWe do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
We will update this privacy policy if the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
